Merlo is a partido of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is located in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina, west of the city of Buenos Aires. Its capital is the city of Merlo. The region of the present-day partido was colonized shortly after the second, and permanent founding of Buenos Aires (1580). In 1730 an interim parish was founded near the estancia (landholding) of Francisco de Merlo. In 1755 Merlo founded the town of Villa San Antonio del Camino, which was renamed later in his honour.
Hurlingham Club (Argentina)
Asociación Civil Hurlingham Club, simply known as "Hurlingham Club" is an Argentine sports and social club located in the city of Hurlingham, Buenos Aires. It is named after the Hurlingham Club in London and was set up in 1888 by the local Anglo-Argentine community. The town of Hurlingham and Hurlingham Partido grew up around the club, taking its name. The club hosts a wide range of activities, such as cricket, gymnastics, football, golf, horse riding, polo, squash, swimming and tennis.

Merlo is the head town of the eponymous partido of Merlo and seat of the municipal government, located in the Greater Buenos Aires urban area. The city was founded by Francisco de Merlo in 1755 and rebuilt by Juan Dillon in 1859. Merlo is divided in two distinctive regions: Merlo Centro, a middle class district clustered around the train station; and the working class barrios, most of them along the Reconquista River.

Tigre Club
The Tigre Club stands on the banks of the Luján River, in Paseo Victorica, Tigre, near Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Club, built next to the Tigre Hotel (demolished in 1940), was financed by Ernesto Tornquist, and was designed by the architects Pablo Pater, Luis Dubois and the engineer Emilio Mitre, and was opened on 13 January 1912. Like the Hotel nearby opened in 1890, the Tigre Club soon became an important meeting place for the rich and famous.

The Hurlingham Club Ground is a cricket ground in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1896 when the North of Argentina played the South of Argentina. First-class cricket was first played there in 1912 when Argentina played the Marylebone Cricket Club. Four further first-class matches were played there, the last of which saw Argentina play Sir TEW Brinckman's XI in 1938.
