Estadio José Amalfitani
The Estadio José Amalfitani is a stadium located in the Liniers neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, in close proximity to Liniers railway station. The venue is the home of the Argentine Primera División club Vélez Sársfield and is also known as El Fortín de Liniers or Vélez Sarsfield. The stadium was built between 1941 and 1943 in wood, and rebuilt in cement between 1947 and 1951. 27 years later, it was expanded in preparation for the 1978 FIFA World Cup.

Liniers
Liniers is a barrio (neighborhood) of Buenos Aires on the edge of the city, centered on Rivadavia Avenue. It is also an important train station and bus hub, connecting western Gran Buenos Aires with the Buenos Aires Metro. The barrio was built up following the building of Liniers railway station. Estadio Nueva España
Estadio Nueva Espana is a multi-use stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina, it has a capacity of 32,500 and it was built in 1981. Nueva España was used as the home ground of Deportivo Español, a football club who currently play in Primera B Metropolitana which is the Argentine third division. Due to the clubs recent financial difficulties, and the poor condition of the stadium, they were prevented from playing there, and had to play their home games elsewhere.

1989 attack on La Tablada Regiment
The 1989 attack on La Tablada Regiment was an assault on the military barracks located in La Tablada, in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, by 40 members of Movimiento Todos por la Patria (MTP), commanded by former ERP leader Enrique Gorriarán Merlo. 39 people were killed and 60 injured by the time the Argentine army retook the barracks.

Ciudadela is a city in Greater Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is located in the Tres de Febrero Partido, immediately to the west of the neighborhood of Liniers in Buenos Aires city proper. It is separated from the city by General Paz avenue.
Mataderos
Mataderos is a barrio in Buenos Aires, Argentina, belonging to the 9th comuna (district). Located in the west end of the city, its name stem from the livestock market and slaughterhouses (the literal meaning of matadero). For much of its history, the area was a meeting point between the city and the countryside, and thus became a hub for rural commerce, and the main stop for gauchos inside city limits. Many famous payadas (improvised lyric contests) took place in the neighborhood bars.

Floresta is a neighbourhood located to the west of Buenos Aires. The district was named after a locomotive called La Floresta. The neighborhood developed following the arrival to the area of Argentina's first rail line, in 1857. Avellaneda Park, the neighborhood's most important, was built in 1914 on grounds that once belonged to a monastery. An early Italian immigrant to Argentina, Felix Barabino, built his home in Floresta and boasted the neighborhood's most imposing residence at the time.
Parque Avellaneda
Parque Avellaneda is a neighbourhood located in the Southwest of Buenos Aires. It is named after Nicolás Avellaneda, former President of Argentina and originated in a 1755 deed given to the Brotherhood of Holy Charity of Jesus Christ. The Olivera family became the area's largest landowners in 1828 and their sale of the majority of their estate to the city of Buenos Aires resulted in the creation of Avellaneda Park (the barrio's namesake) in 1914.
Villa Lugano
Villa Lugano is a neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina, located in the south of the city. It has a population of approximately 114,000 people. It is delimited by Avenida Eva Perón, Avenida General Paz, Calle José Barros Pazos, Avenida Lisandro de la Torre, Avenida Coronel Roca and Calle Escalada. Villa Lugano was founded in 1908, when Swiss citizen José Ferdinando Francisco Soldati established a settlement named for his hometown of Lugano.

The ranch at the site was known as Terrenos del Mirador ("the lookout property") in reference to the estancia therein, Mirador Santa Lucía.

The town owes its name to Turin businessman Dr. Aldo Bonzi (1852 — 1935), who arrived in Argentina in 1896. Bonzi and his partner, Maurizio Andreossi of Switzerland, purchased an estancia in Córdoba Province, where they raised Aberdeen Angus cattle as well as grains.

Liniers railway station
Liniers railway station (Estacion Liniers in Spanish) is located in the Liniers barrio of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is on the FFCC Sarmiento line, between the stations of Ciudadela and Villa Luro. It was first authorised and named in 1872, taking its name in honour of Santiago Liniers.
