Stade 5 Juillet 1962 or 5 July 1962 Stadium (the name refers to 5 July 1962, the day Algeria declared independence from France), also known as El Djezair Stadium, is a football and athletics stadium located in Algiers, Algeria. Cathédrale du Sacré-Cœur d'Alger

Completed in 1956, it became the new cathedral in Algiers after the Cathedral of St. Philip of Algiers had been reconverted into the Moslem mosque Ketchaoua.
