Azem Hajdari
Azem Shpend Hajdari (March 11, 1963 – September 12, 1998) was the leader of the student movement in 1990–1991 that led to the fall of communism in Albania. He then became a politician of the Democratic Party of Albania (DP). Together with Sali Berisha, he symbolizes the start of the democratic era in Albania. He was a member of the Albanian parliament and the Chairman of the Defense Parliamentary Commission. He was assassinated in Tirana on September 12, 1998.

In 2009, it was the first Albanian channel to become available in 16:9 Widescreen High Definition Television for selected programs.
Mother Albania (statue)
Mother Albania is a 12 m statue located at the National Martyrs Cemetery of Albania (Albanian: Dëshmorët e Kombit) in Albania, dedicated in 1971. The statue figuratively represents the country as a mother guarding over the eternal slumber of those who gave their lives for her. There are 28,000 graves of Albanian partisans in the cemetery, all of whom perished during World War II. The massive statue holds a wreath of laurels and a star.
Qemal Stafa Stadium
The Qemal Stafa Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi Qemal Stafa), named after Qemal Stafa a World War II hero, is a national stadium and the largest football stadium in Tirana, Albania. Construction started in 1939 and the stadium was inaugurated in 1946 for the Balkan Cup, which was won by the Albania national football team. The stadium has been used for football matches of the Albanian Superliga and the national team, athletic events, and the six Albanian Spartakiads.

Fortress of Justinian
Fortress of Justinian (Albanian: Kalaja e Justinianit) or simply known as Tirana Castle is a castle in Tirana, Albania. Its history dates back before 1300 and is a remnant from the Byzantine-era. The fortress is the place where the main east-west and north-south roads crossed, and formed the heart of Tirana. About all that's left of the fortress above ground is a 6m-high Ottoman-era wall, covered in vines.

Massacre of 1951 in Albania
The Massacre of 1951 in Albania was the killing without trial of 22 intellectuals in the Socialist People's Republic of Albania on 26 February 1951, as ordered by Enver Hoxha, accused of bombing the Soviet Union's embassy in Tirana. The victims were 21 males and one female. One day earlier, another person, Jonuz Kaceli had been killed while accused of the same crime. It was the first time the Agitation and Propaganda law was used.
St Paul's Cathedral (Tirana)
St Paul's Cathedral is a cathedral in Tirana, Albania. It belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tiranë-Durrës. The stained glass window to the left of the front door features Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa. It is a modern-looking building, and does not resemble a traditional church.

The Tirana Park on the Artificial Lake or the Big Park of Tirana (Albanian: Parku i Madh), or even the Park of Saint Procopius (Albanian: Parku i Shën Prokopit), is a 230-hectare public park situated on the southern part of Tirana, Albania. It includes an artificial lake and many other landmarks such as the Saint Procopius Church, the Presidential Palace of Tirana, and memorials to well known Albanian personalities.

Pyramid of Tirana
The pyramid: International Center of Culture was a museum in Tirana, Albania, that opened on October 14, 1988. Formerly known as "Enver Hoxha Museum. " This pyramid-shaped structure was designed by the daughter and son-in-law of the late communist leader Enver Hoxha. It served as a museum about his legacy, but after 1991 became a conference center and party venue. Some sources have referred to it as the "Enver Hoxha Mausoleum" although this was not an official appellation.
