Mirditë District
The District of Mirditë (Albanian: Rrethi i Mirditës) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Lezhë County. It has a population of 26,668 (2010 estimate), and an area of 867 km². It is in the north of the country, and its capital is Rrëshen.

Lezhë County (Albanian: Qarku i Lezhës) is one of the 12 counties of Albania. It consists of the districts Kurbin, Lezhë and Mirditë and its capital is Lezhë. Abbey of Orosh
The Abbey of Orosh (also known as Mirditë Abbey or St. Alexander Oroshi) was a territorial Benedictine abbey in Orosh, Albania, now destroyed, dedicated to the martyr St. Alexander. By papal decree of 25 October 1888, this abbey with its two affiliated parishes, together with five other parishes in the Diocese of Lezhë (Alessio, Lješ) were removed from the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Lezhë. In 1890 three parishes from the Diocese of Sapë were added, and in 1894 five more parishes from Lezhë.
Dejë Mountain
Dejë Mountain (Albanian: Mali i Dejës) is a mountain in northern Albania. Dejë Mountains highest peak is Maja e Dejës which reaches a height of 2,246 m . Dejë Mountain is 10 km south of Lura Mountain (2,119 m) and Lura National Park. The nearest village is Macukull, in Mat District.
Spaç Prison
The Spaç Prison (Albanian: Burgu i Spaçit) was a political prison in Communist Albania at the village of Spaç. The former prison is listed as a second-category national monument. There were plans to turn the rapidly-deteriorating site into a museum, but as of February 2013, no progress had been made at the location. In 1973, a number of prisoners at the Spaç concentration camp staged a rebellion where the non-communist flag was raised.
