OMAR Mine Museum
Located in Kabul, Afghanistan, the OMAR Mine Museum contains a collection of 51 types of land mines out of the 53 used in Afghanistan over the years. The collection includes unexploded ordnance, cluster bombs and airdrop bombs used by the U.S. invasion in 2002. OMAR stands for the Organization for Mine Clearance and Afghan Rehabilitation. Kabul International Airport
Kabul International Airport, also known as Khwaja Rawash Airport by the Pashtun majority (Pashto: د خواجه رواش هوایي ډګر), is located 16 kilometers from the city center of Kabul in Afghanistan. Axe Kabul International Airport was built in the early 1960s. During the 10 year Soviet war in Afghanistan from 1979 to 1989, the airport was controlled and used by the Soviet Army. Following the Soviet withdrawal it remained in control of the Afghan military, which transformed to private militia.
Kam Air Flight 904
Kam Air Flight 904 was involved in a deadly aviation disaster over the Pamir mountains of Afghanistan in February 2005. The incident took place shortly after 4:00 p.m. local time on February 3, when a private Kam Air Boeing 737-200 jet aircraft went missing in Afghanistan during a domestic flight from the western city of Herat to the capital Kabul. The crash is the deadliest air disaster in the history of Afghanistan.

Ghazi Stadium
Ghazi Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kabul, Afghanistan,used to play soccer. It was built during the reign of King Amanullah Khan in 1923, who was regarded as Ghazi (Hero) for the Afghan victory in the Third Anglo-Afghan War and gaining independence for his nation after the 1919 Treaty of Rawalpindi. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 people. The Ghazi Stadium was renovated in 2011 after the entire ground was removed and replaced with new soil and artificial turf placed on top.

Camp Warehouse is the operations centre for the multinational International Security Assistance Force located 10 kilometers east of Kabul. The camp has soldiers and equipment from dozens of countries. Part of Camp Warehouse is a German-sponsored ISAF military hospital.
Bala Hissar, Kabul
Bala Hissar is an ancient fortress located in the city of Kabul, Afghanistan. The estimated date of construction is around the 5th century A.D. Bala Hissar sits to the south of the modern city centre at the tail end of the Kuh-e-Sherdarwaza Mountain. The Walls of Kabul, which are 20 feet high and 12 feet thick, start at the fortress and follow the mountain ridge in a sweeping curve down to the river. It sports a set of gates for access to the fortress.

Bagrami
Bagrami is a town situated very close to Kabul at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:34.4911|N|69.2756|E||||| | |name= }} at 1797 m altitude. The population is 31,680 (2007 calculation). The road to Kabul is not bad and the city can be reached in 30 minutes, so Bagrami is becoming a suburb. The Bagrami Industrial Park is almost ready and this is one of the major projects for the economy of the region.

Tara Khēl is a village and the center of Deh Sabz District, Kabul Province, Afghanistan. It is situated northwest of Kabul at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:34.5767|N|69.2564|E||||| | |name= }} at 1794 m altitude. The village is big, with more than 2,000 households. It is close to the Kabul International Airport.
Gardens of Babur
The Gardens of Babur, locally called Bagh-e Babur, is a historic park in Kabul, Afghanistan, and also the last resting-place of the first Mughal emperor Babur. The gardens are thought to have been developed around 1528 AD (935 AH) when Babur gave orders for the construction of an ‘avenue garden’ in Kabul, described in some detail in his memoirs, the Baburnama.
Pul-e Khishti Mosque
Pul-e Khishti Mosque is the largest mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan. Located in the center of old Kabul, the Pul-e Khishti Mosque can be identified by its large blue dome. The mosque originally was erected in the late 18th Century, but largely rebuilt under Zahir Shah in the late 1960s. It was damaged during recent fighting in the area, but is one of the few buildings in the area which has had restoration work done on it.
Siege of the Sherpur Cantonment
The Siege of the Sherpur Cantonment was a battle fought in December 1879, during the Second Anglo-Afghan War. On 3 September 1879 Sir Pierre Cavagnari, the British Resident in Kabul, and his escort were massacred by mutinous Afghan troops, initiating the second phase of the Second Anglo-Afghan War. A force was assembled and named the Kabul Field Force, under the command of major-general Frederick Roberts.

The 2008 Indian embassy bombing in Kabul was a suicide bomb terror attack on the Indian embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan on 7 July 2008 at 8:30 AM local time. The bombing killed 58 people and wounded 141. The suicide car bombing took place near the gates of the embassy during morning hours when officials enter the embassy. Habibia High School
Habibia High School is a school in Kabul, Afghanistan, which has educated many of the former and current Afghan elite, including President Hamid Karzai and the country's most famous musician Ahmad Zahir. It was founded by King Habibullah Khan in 1903. It is situated in the south of the city in a district known as Carteh Seh. It suffered severe damage during the civil war of the 1990s between the different mujahideen factions who had ousted the communist government of Mohammad Najibullah in 1992.

A76 highway (Afghanistan)
The A76 highway is a major road of northern Afghanistan. It connects Kabul to Mazar-i-Sharif, passing through Samangan on the way, and then passes west and eventually ends at Herat, where it rejoins the A01 and A77 highways. At Mazar-e-Sharif the road continues west to Herat, but another road passes north from the A76 and connects it to Termiz in southern Uzbekistan.

Wazir Akbar Khān is also home to the Kabul International Airport. It is a common place for foreign workers to live. The streets are laid out on a grid with Western, two-story houses that date back to the 60s and 70s.
