Camp Julien
Camp Julien was the main base for the Canadian contingent of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Kabul, Afghanistan. The camp was named after Lance Corporal George Patrick Julien, a Canadian Army soldier who was awarded the Military Medal as a Private, for his actions at Hill 187 in Korea in May 1953. LCpl Julien was a member of 3rd Battalion, The Royal Canadian Regiment, which was the first unit to occupy Camp Julien.
Kabul University
Kabul University (KU) is located in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. It was founded in 1931 but officially opened for classes in 1932. Kabul University is attended by 7,000 students, of which 1,700 are women. Hamidullah Amin is the chancellor of the university. The university is still recovering from the long period of war and chaos in the country. The main building was renovated about 500 meters from the old one, which has almost the same design.
Jamal ad-Din al-Afghani
Sayyid Jamāl ad-Dīn al-Afghānī, also known as Sayyid Jamāl ad-Dīn Asadābādī, and commonly known as Al-Afghani (1838/1839 – March 9, 1897), was a political activist and Islamic ideologist in the Muslim world during the late 19th century, particularly in the Middle East, South Asia and Europe. One of the founders of Islamic Modernism and an advocate of Pan-Islamic unity, he has been described as "less interested in theology than he was in organizing a Muslim response to Western pressure."
National Museum of Afghanistan
The National Museum of Afghanistan, also known as the Afghan National Museum or sometimes the Kabul Museum, is a two-story building located 9 km southwest of the center of Kabul City in Afghanistan. It was built in 1922 during the reign of King Amanullah Khan. The collection inside the museum was transferred from another location in the city and began as a 'Cabinet of Curiosities' in 1919.
Darul Aman Palace
Darul Aman Palace ("abode of peace" or, in a double meaning "abode of Aman") is a European-style palace, now ruined, located about sixteen kilometers (ten miles) outside of the center of Kabul, Afghanistan. Darul Aman Palace was built in the early 1920s as a part of the endeavours by King Amanullah Khan to modernize Afghanistan. It was to be part of the new capital city (also called Darul Aman or Darulaman) that the king was intending to build, connected to Kabul through a narrow-gauge railway.
Tajbeg Palace
Tajbeg Palace or Tapa-e-Tajbeg Palace is a Palace built in the 1920s and located about ten miles (16 km) outside of the center of Kabul, Afghanistan. The stately mansion sits atop a knoll among foothills where the Afghan royal family once hunted and picnicked. It should not be confused with Darul Aman Palace, which is about 0.8 miles northeast from Tajbeg.
Ghazi Stadium
Ghazi Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kabul, Afghanistan,used to play soccer. It was built during the reign of King Amanullah Khan in 1923, who was regarded as Ghazi (Hero) for the Afghan victory in the Third Anglo-Afghan War and gaining independence for his nation after the 1919 Treaty of Rawalpindi. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 people. The Ghazi Stadium was renovated in 2011 after the entire ground was removed and replaced with new soil and artificial turf placed on top.
Bala Hissar, Kabul
Bala Hissar is an ancient fortress located in the city of Kabul, Afghanistan. The estimated date of construction is around the 5th century A.D. Bala Hissar sits to the south of the modern city centre at the tail end of the Kuh-e-Sherdarwaza Mountain. The Walls of Kabul, which are 20 feet high and 12 feet thick, start at the fortress and follow the mountain ridge in a sweeping curve down to the river. It sports a set of gates for access to the fortress.
Operation Storm-333
Operation Storm-333 («Шторм-333») was the codename of the Soviet special forces operation on 27 December 1979 in which Soviet special forces stormed the Tajbeg Palace in Afghanistan and killed Afghani President Hafizullah Amin and his 200 personal guards. His eleven-year-old son died due to shrapnel wounds.. He was replaced by Babrak Karmal.
Ministry of Communications (Afghanistan)
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) is an organ of the government of Afghanistan. Current communications minister is Amirzai Sangin. At the end of 2001, there were an estimated 35,000 phones working in all of Afghanistan serving a population of 27 million, one of the lowest teledesities in the world. Calls could only be completed over satellite facilities and only among Afghanistan's six major urban areas.

Mussahi
Mussahi (Masa'i) is a village and the center of Mussahi District, Kabul Province, Afghanistan. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:34.3667|N|69.2167|E||||| | |name= }} at 1844 m altitude in a river valley 25 km south of Kabul. The village was seriously damaged during the two decades of wars that were fought in the country, and is now undergoing a rehabilitation process.
Gardens of Babur
The Gardens of Babur, locally called Bagh-e Babur, is a historic park in Kabul, Afghanistan, and also the last resting-place of the first Mughal emperor Babur. The gardens are thought to have been developed around 1528 AD (935 AH) when Babur gave orders for the construction of an ‘avenue garden’ in Kabul, described in some detail in his memoirs, the Baburnama.
Pul-e Khishti Mosque
Pul-e Khishti Mosque is the largest mosque in Kabul, Afghanistan. Located in the center of old Kabul, the Pul-e Khishti Mosque can be identified by its large blue dome. The mosque originally was erected in the late 18th Century, but largely rebuilt under Zahir Shah in the late 1960s. It was damaged during recent fighting in the area, but is one of the few buildings in the area which has had restoration work done on it.
Kabul Medical University
Kabul Medical University (Pashto: د کابل طبي پوهنتون) (formerly known as Kabul Medical Faculty) is located in Kabul, Afghanistan on the campus of Kabul University. The medical institution was initially maintained by collaboration with the Turkish and French sponsors. KMF developed into a single autonomous University in 2005. It currently graduates professionals in fields of Curative Medicine, Pediatric, Stomatology=Dental and Nursing.
Habibia High School
Habibia High School is a school in Kabul, Afghanistan, which has educated many of the former and current Afghan elite, including President Hamid Karzai and the country's most famous musician Ahmad Zahir. It was founded by King Habibullah Khan in 1903. It is situated in the south of the city in a district known as Carteh Seh. It suffered severe damage during the civil war of the 1990s between the different mujahideen factions who had ousted the communist government of Mohammad Najibullah in 1992.

Dasht-E-Barchi is the western part of Kabul, Afghanistan. The residents of this area are 100% Hazara. They constitute around 3.5 million people from the 8 million population who lives in Kabul. Dasht-E-Barchi is the most peaceful part of Kabul that not a single explosion happened in this 10 years,and is where the most intelligent students of afghanistan live(as the concore examination shows).
Lycée Esteqlal
The Lycée Esteqlal is a Franco-Afghan school in Kabul, Afghanistan. It is the second oldest school in Kabul, and was recognized as one of the prestigious schools in the country. Lycée Esteqlal is a public school, administered by the Afghan Ministry of Education, and is currently under the contract of AEFE, an educational agency of the French Foreign Ministry. The French Cultural Center (CCF) is also located inside the Lycée Esteqlal compound.

Bost University د بُست پوهنتون is a private, non-sectarian university in Lashkarga, Helmand Province, Afghanistan founded in 1391-2012 by Ahmad Jan Popal. Bost University offers 4 year undergraduate degrees and certificates for short term courses and training in Engineering, Law and Economics. The university's faculty possesses appropriate academic credentials. Furthermore, many are or have been practicing professionals of note. In terms of faculty composition.
A76 highway (Afghanistan)
The A76 highway is a major road of northern Afghanistan. It connects Kabul to Mazar-i-Sharif, passing through Samangan on the way, and then passes west and eventually ends at Herat, where it rejoins the A01 and A77 highways. At Mazar-e-Sharif the road continues west to Herat, but another road passes north from the A76 and connects it to Termiz in southern Uzbekistan.
Rahman Baba High School
The Rahman Baba High School is located in Kabul, Afghanistan. It was established by the help of the United States and is one of the best schools in Kabul Province. It is specially dedicated to the students of rural areas and follows the curriculum of the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan in Pashto language.
